Since the winter of 2002, my wife Sarah and I have been running as ski chalet in the French Alps. We run all aspects of the business ourselves including hosting at the chalet, design, marketing and of course managing the website.
Web presence is a key part of any holiday company these days. Most bookings come via the internet in some way, so an easy to find and easy to use website is vital for the business.
We designed and built the site together in 2002 and have kept evolving it and refining it as we went along. The experience we try to provide at the chalet is a very personal one with excellent food and a friendly, informal atmosphere. We want the brand identity and the website to reflect that and communicate it to our guests before they even reach the chalet.
